Dozens of families gathered at Buttonwillow Raceway Park in California’s central valley this past weekend, October 24-26, for the Why We Ride – Minimoto USA Championship Finals. This weekend full of Minimoto, MiniGP and Supermoto racing for both kids and adults was highlighted by a luau-themed potluck and an end-of-season awards ceremony. Top class finishers were awarded their Why We Ride – Minimoto USA trophies, complete with interviews and photo-ops. “It’s fun to give the kids a taste of the pro racing world,” said Why We Ride Producer/Director Bryan H. Carroll, who was in attendance and whose son, Ethan Carroll, participated in the final round of racing. “We joined forces with Minimoto USA to help develop the next generation of professional racers, but it’s also very important that the kids get to enjoy themselves and the time they spend with their families and friends.”
