Why We Ride will make its Augusta, Georgia, debut on Saturday, August 30! Fans and riders who gather at the Imperial Theatre for the screening will also be supporting a great cause: Southeast Helping with Horsepower, Inc.
Southeast Helping with Horsepower was started by Michelle Leigh Ligon after she learned about the original program, Helping with Horsepower, which was founded by Laura Klock, Dave Sietsma and Erika Cobb of Klock Werks. Laura is featured in Why We Ride, and although she is best known for her work in the motorcycle industry, she is also a tireless supporter of charitable causes.
Augusta Harley-Davidson and Southeast Helping with Horsepower teamed up for the Why We Ride screening, and proceeds from the tickets of the movie, as well as from ancillary events that day, will support the non-profit.
Southeast Helping with Horsepower was developed for young girls from ages 11-18. The programs are designed to encourage, empower and embrace girls who face drug, alcohol or family abuse.
If you live near Augusta, join Southeast Helping with Horsepower and Augusta Harley-Davidson to support a great cause and see Why We Ride on the big screen! And if that’s not enough, you’ll also get to meet Laura Klock, who will be attending the Augusta premiere! The showing begins at 11:00 a.m. ET on August 30, and you can buy tickets in advance from the Imperial Theatre’s website.
